Falafel Preparation:


Our Falafel recipe is a twist on the traditional version but only slightly. The patty is made from Fava beans. For better colour and nutritional value we added roasted garlic & olives. View full recipe below!

Preparation

  1. Falafel Preparation:

    • In a food processor start by pureeing parsley, coriander, leeks, onions & roasted garlic.
    • Then add the beans and puree for 3 minutes, then add the black olives, and blend for 2 more minutes
    • Add the coriander, Knorr Vegetable Stock Powder and Knorr Lime Seasoning, puree for one more minute
    • Using an ice cream scoop make a ball and press it to a patty with your fingers. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds on both sides.
    • Deep fry at 170°C for 3 minutes on both sides.
